On 25th July 2008, I submitted my final piece of coursework to Sheffield Hallam University. All other work had been submitted and marked, and all exams had been successfully passed. My final average percentage grade at this point was 70%. All that was left for the University to do was to mark this last piece of work. All that was left for me to do was receive my final degree classification...And thus began my interminable nightmare!

This site stands as testimony to the corruption, dishonesty and bias that exists within the higher education system, and its dishonest collusion with the only affordable complaints system available to the student, the Office of the Independent Adjudicator, aka, the OIA.

If you are a student reading this site's content for the first time, especially if you are engaged in, (or thinking of engaging in), a similar dispute, I would strongly advise you to pay particular attention to the way in which it was possible to cynically move proceedings further and further from the point and purpose of the complaint against the University as each process progressed, until at the conclusion of this sordid affair, some three years later, the OIA, who claim, not only to be independent, but also to be impartial, deliberately and dishonestly found my complaint to be NOT JUSTIFIED, cheating me out of any fair and sensible resolution.

While traversing this site, and examining the documentation herein, I would only ask you to remember two very important points, i.e.

• firstly, that I submitted MY OWN WORK, EXACTLY AS PER UNIVERSITY PROCEDURES, NEVER DOING ANYTHING WRONG NOR EVEN BEING SHOWN TO HAVE DONE ANYTHING THAT COULD BE SUSPECTED TO BE DISHONEST OR OTHERWISE WRONG, AND THE UNIVERSITY HAS (SUPPOSEDLY) ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THIS IS THE CASE,
• and secondly, that although the University have claimed to have sought a fair resolution to this matter, in doing so they have repeatedly insisted that, AS A CONDITION OF THAT RESOLUTION, I MUST FIRST ACCEPT THEIR ASSERTION THAT THEY HAD 'REASONABLE SUSPICION' AND THEREFORE WERE ACTING REASONABLY IN MAKING AN ACCUSATION OF CHEATING AGAINST ME, AND THAT, EVEN THOUGH THEY CANNOT PRODUCE ANY DOCUMENTATION WHICH RELATES TO THE MARKING OF MY WORK, THAT THIS WORK WAS MARKED FAIRLY AND HONESTLY.

The documentation supplied on this site is all the documentation related to this case. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find the "evidence" on which Sheffield Hallam University bases its "reasonable suspicion". Good luck!! (You'll need it!!).

I would caution you to be aware of the seeming cordiality of the correspondences, behind this facade, intelligent scheming was afoot, the culmination of which left me jobless, unemployable, and with lies written into my medical record which declare me to be under medical investigation for psychiatric disorder, (without me ever having been seen for such illness.). Unbelievable? Yes, it is. And that is exactly how they get away with it!
